Anna Cederquist is a southern Sweden-based, musician, teacher, composer, creator, producer, and instrument builder.
Anna was born in 1973 and raised in Piteå, a town on the coast of Swedish Lapland in the northern part of Sweden.

Piteå is a small town located near both the archipelago and sea, rivers, and forests, in stark contrast to Malmö, where she has lived since 1997. Malmö is situated in the southernmost part of Sweden in the Skåne area.

Anna plays Swedish traditional flutes, and recorders in combination with folk-singing.
She loves combining music genres with arts, crafts, and history, such as blending traditional folk music and songs with baroque music and/or creating and performing music with circus shows.
Since 2018, she has also immersed herself in Swedish traditional flutes both building and playing folk pipes of various kinds and diving into their fantastic song treasure.

Anna is also a sound designer and music producer and makes music with electronics, various music programs, percussion, stringed instruments, and from music group SKROT invented and built scrap instruments.
She performs with her own music groups in folk and early music genres and is also involved in projects related to performing arts, circus, and music performances for her own company and other companies, including several shows with Circus by Me.

Anna Cederquist

Jens Ulvsand - guitarist and bouzoukiplayer, teacher and composer born in 1955 in Uppsala, he grew up and lived there until 1978 when he moved south to Svalöv to study music. Between 80-92 he lived and worked with Malmö as his base and moved (92) to a small village east of Lund, Genarp, which has been his home ever since. The idea of living closer to the forest and nature fits very well with his great interests (besides music of course), ornithology, jogging and his (and his wife's) garden.

As a touring freelance musician, I play between 50 and 100 concerts a year since 1985, with bands such as Little Big Band, Afro Tiambo, Avada, Worchestra, Willie M Buende Band, Trio Mio, Sofia Thelin Band, Yölariis, Ulvsand Hjetland, ACT (Anna Cederquist Trio), Himmerland and Teta Diana Band. As a touring musician, I have done about 1000 school/children's performances during the period 1984 to 2006 for music foundations in Sweden with bands such as Little Big Band, Avada, Trulle trallar. Trio Mio, I toured schools in Denmark 2006/7 10-11 for LMS. 2015-17 Composer/musician in a songwriting project with (6-7 years) children in Malmö schools.

Workshops: Since 1985 I have done between 5 and 10 workshops per year in ensemble playing and West African percussion and for the last 20 years in the subject of Scandinavian folk music/improvisation. I have been invited to a large number of colleges/music colleges, the Academy of Music in Stockholm, the Malmö Academy of Music, Karlstad University and the Academy of Music in Odense. I have also held tour-related workshops at festivals and music schools in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Italy, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

Jens Ulvsand

Hans Nilsson was born in 1966 in Dalarna and raised in Hjo, Västergötland. He now resides in Lund with his wife, three sons, and their cat. After three years of music studies at various folk high schools in central Sweden, Hans moved to Arvika to pursue four years of music education at Ingesund Academy of Music. His studies focused on both classroom teaching and improvisation. In addition, he dedicated two years to advanced studies in clarinet performance. Hans’s professional life spans over 20 years and reflects a broad and diverse career in music education. He has a o taught music theory, composition, arranging, piano, and saxophone at various music high schools. 

As a program director for the jazz program at a folk high school, he led classes in ensemble, piano, and saxophone. For a few years, he also worked at cultural schools as a wind instrument instructor, where he led big bands and wind orchestras. Since 2013, Hans has been freelancing in the cultural sector. In addition to his music teaching credentials from Ingesund, Hans has studied composition for two years at Örebro Academy of Music and has completed additional courses in music theory and pedagogy. His work has been diverse, ranging from composing music for a German fairytale CD to writing the piece *Om jag vore en vind* for choir, soloists, string orchestra, and Björn J:son Lindh's flute, commissioned by Odd Fellow. He has also composed two choral suites commissioned by the Church of Sweden: *Vi har vårt ursprung* for Riksfest 2006 and *Aningar* in 2011. As a member of the music group SKROT, Hans arranged music for the Malmö Symphony Orchestra and Musica Vitae. 

He has also produced music and jingles for podcasts and created sound design for VR games and experiences. For four years, he served as music director for the church plays at Lund Cathedral. In collaboration with author Erik Magntorn, Hans has composed music and sound for two audiobooks, as well as songs for soloists and choirs, some of which have been published by leading publishers. Hans’s passion for music has been a lifelong journey, whether playing solo or in groups. He embraces a wide range of musical challenges, from performing lounge piano to accompanying sing-alongs or touring with rock bands and playing in folk music trios. Over the years, Hans has performed with several renowned artists, including Georg Riedel, Bengan Janson, Nina Persson, Thore Skogman, Kristin Amparo, and Louise Hoffsten.
